Cette solution n\u2019\u00e9met pas de polluant atmosph\u00e9rique local li\u00e9 \u00e0 la consommation d\u2019\u00e9nergie. Il s\u2019agit de remplacer les moteurs Diesel par des piles \u00e0 combustible, des r\u00e9servoirs d\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne, et des batteries pour une traction sans \u00e9mission directe de gaz \u00e0 effet de serre. L\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne<br \/>stock\u00e9 dans les r\u00e9servoirs est m\u00e9lang\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019oxyg\u00e8ne de l\u2019air ambiant dans la pile \u00e0 combustible, situ\u00e9e en toiture du train. L\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 produite peut \u00eatre stock\u00e9e dans les batteries. La r\u00e9action chimique produit uniquement de l\u2019eau. Le train \u00e0 hydrog\u00e8ne dispose d\u2019une autonomie allant jusqu\u2019\u00e0 600 kilom\u00e8tres, en transportant 220 passagers \u00e0 160 km\/h. A terme, il est pr\u00e9vu d\u2019envisager une autonomie de 860 km au lieu de 600 km pour le transport de voyageurs, une autonomie sup\u00e9rieure \u00e0 1000 km pour le Fret, une autonomie de 6h pour R\u00e9seau, et de disposer de plus de puissance de traction pour les besoins de Fret et de R\u00e9seau.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><div><p><span style=\"background-color: transparent;
